Monthly Meetings of ACR are designed to connect people with amputations and limb deficiency and share vital information relevant to their surgery, recovery and community resources.
Sports and Recreation - Engaging children and adults who live with an amputation is the heart of recovery. ACR participates annually in sporting events such as the DisAbility Sports Festival and the Angel City Games.
Community Service Events - ACR can be found supporting our local Grand Terrace Lions, Inland Empire Disability Collabrative Expo, and Grand Terrace Day each year. These events not only provide an opportunity for ACR members to connect to their community, but supports our efforts to give back.
Camp No Limits - ACR sponsors amputee children and their families for a weekend at Camp No Limits in Big Bear. Dedicated to children with limb loss and limb deficiency, Camp No Limits provides a unique and empowering experience.
The value of peers in recovery for a person with an amputation is invaluable from the day of amputation to their return home. ACR coordinates efforts to certify peer vistors. For more information please select the Peer Visits tab.
