2018 ACR Officers
Monthly Meetings of ACR are designed to connect people with amputations and limb deficiency and share vital information relevant to their surgery, recovery and community resources.
The value of peers in recovery for a person with an amputation is invaluable from the day of amputation to their return home. ACR coordinates efforts to certify peer vistors. For more information please select the Peer Visits tab.
We are also very active in sporting events, fund raising, and amputee networking within Southern California and on a Nationwide basis. We also are helping to get other support groups started such as the new group in the Coachella Valley and a Parents of Children with Limb Loss support group in Loma Linda. Please join us and help make a positive impact other new amputees lives. Speakers are available for presentations to your groups or organizations. Contact Luis at 213-700-0970 or leave a message for ACR at 909-423-0562.
The vision of the Amputee Connection is to empower caregivers, families and friends to optimize the care and well being of people with limb loss in Southern California.
